This is The Best, What its All About

Oh what fun when Daddy comes home, or in this case right befor bed!!! On top of a wonderfully fun time, you also get a tour of our house!!! Starting in Hannahs / the play room, then through the hall, on your left is Daniels room/ the office, and also the bathroom. If you keep going straight instead of turning left you will find Mommy and Daddys room. As you can see in our lovely family room we have our piano that was my Grandparents and lovely wood floors. Then into the kitchen. I love having all the space to cook and store food! If you keep going through the glass doors you will find our back yard, a must for thoes of us with little ones!! Mommy & Her Babies

Sometimes in the midst of being a stay home mom it can be discouraging. But during Thanksgiving time I can't help but feel blessed to be able to have children, and to be able to stay home with them! Yeah, it's a little (maybe a lot) harder financially without two incomes, but to me its sooo worth it!!

In the first picture Im smiling at Daniel who was by our piano and playing it. He thinks he is such hot stuff when he plays the piano or sits in a 'big boy chair!!' And Hannah and Daniel both fight for who gets to sit with their Mommy, its so cute. Anyway, I love my Family!

Christmas Tree Hunting

So Dave and his family have this Christmas tradition called 'Christmas tree hunting.' I havn't been yet due to having been prego or having small sick children. Well, this year I had no excuse. Let me also note that for the past four years that I have been part of the family some sort of horror story always proceeds the exccursion. For example, getting stuck in the mud (for hours), hitting a dear, getting in a car accident because of weather conditions, etc., etc.

This is how it goes. We have to get permits to cut them down, drive an hour to Heber, treck up a mountian, cut down a tree, have hot choch and food, go home. In theroy of course. Anyway, this year their was no snow, thank goodness, and everything went very smoothly!! It was actually a ton of fun! We built a fire to keep warm (it was so so so cold) at around 6,000 ft in Dec, you can imagine!!

Victory!!! I got it out without having to cut her hair!!! Ha ha ha!! You have no idea how fullfilling that is to me (I never thought I'd see the day when it was!). The strategy was this: 1. bath, 2. conditioning spray, and a lot of it, 3. comb it out. And that't that. I won.

Last Sat we all went to Seths 3rd birthday party!!! It was so fun! Hannah and Sarah are so cute. When they see each other both of their faces just light up so bright and happy. They really are great friends. They just kept going on the merry go round over and over again. Right picture: Sarah and Hannah. Left picture: Daniel and Hannah. Halloween With Family!

Halloween this year was so fun. The family all came to our Ward Halloween party and we just had a blast!!! The kids played and danced and ate candy and ate candy and ate even more candy together and loved every min of it. Some of the little kids (Hannah, Daniel, Sarah) were scared of Grandma......I wonder why?? lol!!!!

Sundays at Grandma and Grandpas

On most Sundays after Church Daves family gathers for dinner at Mom and Dad Donaldsons house. The cousins favoriate thing to do is jump on the trampoline. Hannah is the one in the purple dress. As you can see it get a little crazy!! Imagine what its like trying to get them all to eat dinner!! Not to mention the three infants screaming in the background! It really is a ton of laughs!!!

Daniel is Crazy!!!

Daniel is so crazy!! He couldn't sit still if his life depended on it! I've even almost given up reading to him. He grabs the book and puts it in his mouth or whatever else. If I hold it away from him so he can't get it he just throws a fit! This is at Walters (Daves youngest brother) soccer game. We made a special effort to go because it was his 18th birthday. As Dave tried to keep Daniel on his shoulders he kept squirming and bouncing almost making it imposiable for Dave to hold him!! What a funny boy!!

Hannah Singing

Some Fun Times This Month!

This is Hannah and a couple of her cousins at the cabin with Grandma Donaldson. Top row: Lucy, Grandma. Bottom row: Adah, Jane, Tommy, Seth, Sarah, David, and Hannah. Cousins not in the picture include John, Lila, and Kate. She has so much fun with her cousins, and Dave and I have tons of fun with his brothers and sisters!! We all went up to the cabin in the canyon when Jane and Seths new baby sister Kate was being born.

The next picture is of some of Daves family when we hiked up to Doughnut Falls. Daniel is climing up over Daves shoulders. It was a ton of fun! Davids brother Marcus (bearded) pushed the stroller the whole way up to the falls, over rocks and all!!

On Labor Day our family went up to Huntsville (UT) with Fred (Daves brother), Julie, Adah, David, and Sarah. Julies Dad grew up on a farm and still owns his old house. He took all of us horseback riding bareback, it was really nice of him. We had a blast.

When we went to Maryland we did lots of fun stuff with Granny and Pop Pop Kahlert. One of the highlights was all the amazing food Granny cooked. On our last night she made crab cakes and stuffed shells, needless to say that Daniel really liked it!!
